Killed in Rampage at Bed-and-Breakfast in Maine; Cook Is Arrested and Charged
With Murder"
Houston Chronicle (09/06/06) ; Adams, Glenn
Police say that
a cook who worked at a bed-and-breakfast in the Maine countryside killed and
dismembered four people, including the owner of another bed-and-breakfast and
the owner's daughter. Police said that the cook, 31-year-old Christian Nielsen,
admitted to the gruesome slayings. Nielsen had been renting a room at the Black
Bear Bed & Breakfast while working at the Sudbury Inn in a nearby town. One
of the co-owners of the Sudbury Inn expressed shock at the news, describing
Nielsen as a reliable and good employee; police said that a check of Nielsen's
background shows several driving offenses, including an arrest for drunken
driving.
