Police Charge Georgia Boy with Planning Massacre

A 14-year-old student at Lovejoy High School in Georgia was arrested after fellow students told authorities that he planned a school massacre.

They told officers that the boy tried to get them to join them in a plan that would "turn Lovejoy into another Columbine." The students said he had detailed diagrams of the plot, which police said involved blocking some exits at the 2,000-student school, pulling fire alarms and shooting those evacuating the building at unblocked exits.

The boy was in state custody undergoing a psychological evaluation.
