Shots Fired At School Board Meeting
A school board meeting in Charleston, WV, turned violent in July when a school maintenance worker fired several shots from an assault rifle, wounding one person.
Several people subdued the shooter, who had also doused two members of the meeting's audience with gasoline before opening fire. Richard "Rusty" Bright, 58, was charged with malicious wounding and wanton endangerment.
About 20 people were attending the meeting at the board's offices when Bright opened fire.
