MORRISTOWN,
N.J., Oct 31, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Crum&Forster has
created
a new policy called Platinum Management Protection(SM) (PMP),
designed
exclusively for privately held companies with 100 - 5,000
employees.
The policy offers protection for Directors & Officers Liability including
coverage
for Company Liability and Outside Directorship Liability,
Employment
Practices Liability including coverage for Third Party Discrimination and
Workplace
Violence, Fiduciary Liability, and Miscellaneous Professional
Liability.
"We
are committed to providing solutions to those serious problems emerging
against
private companies in today's fast paced business environment. That's
why we
are offering the first private company form to also include Third
Party
Discrimination and Workplace Violence Coverage in addition to
Employment
Practices Liability. These key coverages address today's biggest
management
liability concerns," said De'Andre M. Salter, Vice President of
Crum&Forster's
Management Protection Division.
This
distinctively unique policy gives insureds the opportunity to customize
the
policy to meet their particular needs by purchasing any combination of
the
offered coverages. "We recognize that many mid-sized private companies
have
significant exposures and are sophisticated enough to understand that
they
need more than one limit of liability to respond to the wide array of
suits
against them. PMP fulfills this need by offering the customer
flexibility
to buy individual limits for each insuring agreement or one
aggregate
limit of liability for the entire policy," said Mr. Salter.
PMP has
been filed in all 50 states and is immediately available in a number
of
states with broader availability expected shortly.
The
insured can enjoy peace of mind knowing that Crum&Forster will provide
defense
counsel with specific coverage expertise through it's duty to defend
obligation.
In addition, PMP also offers a wide array of support services at
no
additional cost to the insured, including:
·
Access
to The Best Practices Risk Management Line(TM) from the AGOS Group
·
Internet
access to The Employment Guide by the Bureau of National
Affairs, Inc. for sample handbooks,
policies, applications, etc.
·
Workplace
violence crisis response by AMSEC International
"We
fully understand the importance of responding to customers' needs. We
offer a
Gold Standard of Service. If a same day quote is required, we will
get it
accomplished. If a special or unusual problem surfaces, we will
provide
a custom solution in a timely manner," said Mr. Salter.
